We are excited to announce that we have a position open for managing dispatch of our online orders and in the future running our physical events.
We are looking for someone who is hard-working, happy to carry loads of plants and manage a team!
What’s involved:
- Quality control and dispatching orders.
- Managing pickers and staff.
- Liaising with customers about their orders.
- Quality control.
Must have:
- Plant identification knowledge is preferable. Existing staff can assist as you build this knowledge.
- Leadership qualities - able to manage and guide a team.
- Hard-working. It’s not easy. Our team often slogs it and work big hours.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking orders and cross-checking.
- Ability to use excel and google sheets as this is our main way of checking off orders prior to dispatch.
- Multi-tasking - it's often a juggling act balancing the teams demands, drivers, dealing with customers, management, space restraints etc.
- Good composure - at different times the role can be stressful so someone who can remain level headed and focused on the task is important.
Workload-
Melbourne- This is a casual position and we run sales every 2-3 weeks. Shifts are from Friday through to Tuesday or Wednesday. Would suit someone with existing work or a freelancer.
We are also running Geelong dispatch from Melbourne once a month.
